To my dad on his birthday….

The man who taught me all I know about sports, how to throw a ball properly, to buy (never lease), how to prune rose bushes, how to change the fan belt in your car, to be a Cowboys fan, that you have to whisper in a library, how to cheat at board games, how to taunt people when you win— and also how to be a good, loving person.

He was born in Phagwara, India and fulfilled his dream: to become an American, and to drive a Jeep. He wears cowboy boots, loves his Jack Russell terrier, and his Irish-Nebraska wife of over 34 years.

Happy birthday, daddy. I love you!
